(as shown below).
Once you have the "Network" window showing:
- Click the arrow box on the "Show" drop-down list and choose "Internal Modem".
- Click on the PPP tab to select it if it is not selected.
- Enter your username in the Account Name field.
- Enter your password in the Password field.
- Enter the dialup number that is local to your area in the Telephone Number field.
- Click the Save Password check box.
- Finally, click the "TCP/IP" tab and fill in the entries
as shown in the screenshot below.
- Click the arrow box on the "Configure" drop-down menu and choose "Using PPP".
- In the "Domain Name Servers" box, type the number indicated.
- In the "Search Domains" box, type "totalnetnh.net".
- Now click "Apply Now".
- That's it! Your Mac OS X system is configured for internet access.
Now Connect and verify
- Open Internet Connect. It's in the Applications folder.
- Be sure the Configuration pop-up menu is set to your modem.
- Click the Connect button.
- Once Internet Connect says you're connected, open a Web browser or other Internet (TCP/IP) application to make sure your connection works
