Setting up Eudora Lite or Pro (Win / Mac).
These pages are designed as a quick reference if you are experiencing problems with obtaining your e-mail from Total Net NH using Eudora Lite or Eudora Pro. This document may provide a solution to your problems if:
- You're not receiving your E-mail,
- You're getting mail returned to you,
- People cannot reply to your messages,
- You receive the same mail over and over.
Eudora Lite is one of the simplest programs to set up. When you enter a bit of information in one place, it duplicates over into all the places it needs to be, saving you repetition. The following instructions provide information for setting up Eudora Lite and Eudora Pro for both Macintosh and PC. Although the screenshots shown are from a PC, the Macintosh version is essentially the same.
The first step is to go to your "Tools" menu, and then down to "Options".
What follows are three screenshots of the sections that concern us. The first icon you will see is "Getting Started". Click on that, and type in what you see in the first screenshot, replacing your real name and your username with the correct entries. Then click on the "Personal Information" icon and filling in the entries according to the second screenshot. Finally, click on the "Hosts" icon, following the information in the third screenshot.
Note that once you fill in the "Getting Starting" information, Eudora is smart enough to fill in the rest in most cases.
