Check the below things on your computer to make sure they are setup correctly (Click on them for a longer description on how to do it):

If you have never been able to connect, or you are not able to connect every time because of the above message, try:

  1. Checking and verifying your password and username (including the case).
  2. Check Dial Up Networking settings in My Computer.
  3. Check Protocols
  4. Delete and reinstall TCP/IP and DUN.
  5. Check for other programs trying to access the same COM port.
  6. Check baud rate.
  7. Add modem strings.
  8. Check for line noise.
  9. In "Network", uninstall any components not needed.
  10. Enable the TTY Window.
  11. Lower the modem speed.
  12. Turn on "Log On To Network".
  13. Disable Software Compression.
  14. Run "Scandisk" and "Defrag".

If you have problems connecting after you have already been connected a "couple of minutes ago", try doing these:

  1. Do a "ctrl-alt-delete" and close "Rnaapp".
  2. Check Dial Up Networking settings in My Computer.
  3. Lower the modem speed.
  4. Add modem strings.
  5. Delete and reinstall TCP/IP and DUN.
